Service Learning So Far

 Service Learning so far I guess is alright. I mean I have a really good understanding of what's going on. 50% of Darfur's population is whiped out, and their government is for the genocide. And they're not stopping anytime soon unfortunately. We have an idea to do a flip flop party....But I have an idea that I can sew pillows for the people in Darfur. Or I can sew some other articles of clothing...I guess only time will tell what happens next. Bye. 

Reflection on Service Learning 5/15/08

Thursday's meeting was a little successful. We came up with ideas such as: a flip flop party, flip flops for flip flops, and some more stuff. But,  right now I think our group needs to work on raising the awareness of the severity of the situation about the genocide in Darfur. Then only as soon as we know everything about it ourselves, then we can spread the word to  get others involved.
